Hi OM super fans!

Over the weekend, one of our advertisers has begun serving a very nasty ad that redirects users to a fake antivirus scanning page (Antivirus 2010). This page pretends to do a scan on your computer. Do not click on this ad or install anything from this ad! If you think you are infected with this virus, follow the instructions on this page to have it removed: http://tinyurl.com/de4o5g (if any user know of a better how to guide, please send it to us and I will put it up here).

Now for what we need help with. Because we have no idea who is serving this ad, and because only some users seem to be seeing it, we need your help locating the source of this ad. If you see this ad, and currently use the firebug extension on firefox, please send us a screenshot of what the net tools show. If you don't use firebug, just ignore this cry for help, but do be careful of any such popups. We try our best to filter out all the popups and bad ads, but as you can see, sometimes these ads do manage to slip through.

OM strongly suggests that users install some kind of malware/spyware, antivirus software on their computer. If you don't want to buy it, here are some tools we recommend that you can download for free:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx (microsoft's own malware scanning and removal tool)
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ (firefox is a more secure browser than IE and is less of a target for online spyware)
http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html. (highly recommended to get rid of Antivirus 2010 (and other spyware).. thanks bluedragonbob!)
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html (Avast, a popular free windows antivirus package, thanks zheng!).
Thanks for your understanding and continued support... we will keep fighting bad ads!
